Full-time Continuous Position
Salary commensurate with education and experience

Position Highlights

Responsible for instruction of various levels within the Power Engineering program.
Prepare and present classes in both classroom and lab settings.
Organize and supervise practical assignments.
Assist in the development of exams, quizzes, research papers and other evaluation materials for students, and maintain progress reports.
Responsible for recruitment of students/orientation in consultation with program coordinator.
Liaise with industry and external regulatory bodies.
Other duties as required.

Qualifications

First or Second Class Interprovincial Power Engineer Certificate, plus several years of field experience.
Adult instruction/tutoring experience would be considered an asset.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
Candidate should have strong leadership and teamwork skills.
Current industry standard safety certificates.
Committed to student achievement.
Computer skills are required with experience using Microsoft applications.
Valid Class 5 driver’s licence as some travel may be required.
