We are currently seeking Control Systems Engineers, to work on a contract basis. Based in Calgary, you will be working for one of the world’s leading engineering, procurement and construction companies.

The Control Systems Engineer is accountable for maintaining system integrity and the implementation of advanced control strategies.

The successful candidate will be responsible for applying engineering principles to complete the engineering designs associated with control and instrument systems.

Applicants must have the following qualifications/experience:

12 years experience in Control Systems Engineering/Design
Experience with development of control strategy documents, DCS/SIS system design, selection and procurement of plant instrumentation
Supervision of project teams
Bachelor's degree in Process Control, Chemical or Electrical Engineering. In the case of Chemical or Electrical Engineers, preference will be given to those with experience or specialization in process control.
Industrial experience with continuous processes
Distributed Control System or PLC experience
Strong computer skills
Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
