Jean-Christophe Denner était un luthier qui vivait au XVIIème et XVIIIème siècle. Il vivait à Nuremberg et en 1690, il fut officiellement l'inventeur de la clarinette. Il faut savoir que dans l'Egypte antique, l'argoul était déjà utilisé et ressemblait à s'y méprendre à la clarinette....
