Job summary:
The primary objective is to build a new Scratch and Casual gaming brand, develop brand equity and integrity from start-up, drive and increase retention, activity rates and revenue through targeted and focused marketing activities in select geographical or language markets.
Main responsibilities:
As a result of market opportunity and growth, we are in the process of launching a new Scratch and Casual Game Brand. The Business Lead will drive the strategy and marketing execution for the Scratch and Casual Games brand and product. This will include the setting up and implementing of the overall marketing tracks and processes for this brand. The successful candidate will also be instrumental in driving the implementation of support-related processes within the business for the new brand.
Post brand launch, the Business Lead will be brand and customer focussed and will need to analyse the user experience and customer life stages and adapt existing communications, develop and test new interventions and constantly strive to improve our overall player retention rates and success of the brand. The maintenance and reinforcement of brand integrity will be a key focus.
The successful candidate will possess strong brand marketing, analytical, process and project management skills. They will also be technically-minded and be familiar with web marketing best practices. An inquiring mind is needed in order to be able to creatively solve challenges and propose new and fresh alternatives to new processes.
Will be accountable and responsible for the Scratch and Casual Games Brand and websites.
Successful execute of the launch strategy.
Develops and implements strategies for retaining and growing the existing customer base.
Tracks and reports on the success of implemented strategies.
Takes responsibility for maintaining the integrity of the player experience (and brand where required).
Plans, organises and executes promotions and offers that are country and/or language specific.
Devises and initiates strategies to target customers with regards to specific player experiences which promote activity and retention as an outcome.
Devises and implements promotions and initiatives to generate revenue.
Identifies players for intervention or relationship management.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
KNOWLEDGE :
Marketing degree or relevant qualification
Minimum of 4 years experience in digital marketing or ecommerce
Minimum of 4 years experience in brand marketing management and execution
Minimum of 2 years experience in managing a team
Previous Social Media experience is preferred but not essential
SKILLS:
Strong project and process management skills
Solid analytical and numerical skills
Solid negotiation skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Highly computer literate
