Events Manager

The events operations manager overseas and directs the activities of employees engaged in providing event coordination, technical support, audio-visual services, security, fire regulation compliance, exhibitor services, and overall client satisfaction during events. Hence we are strongly looking for a candidate who has deep music and cultural event understanding besides the management knowledge.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Directs and coordinates staff activities necessary to support various events and activities
Prepares the annual budget, recommends capital improvement, controls and monitors section’s expenditures
Consults with exhibit and cultural activities supervisors, promoters , convention representatives, and others concerning physical set-up needs and requirements for assigned areas
Inspects facilities to ensure they are being maintained properly for events
Monitors concessions and service contractor operations in the facilities for contract compliance
Oversees the computing of costs for billing of special services and equipment rental charges
Works closely with the pubic attending events by answering complaints and monitoring services provided
Prepared a variety of reports on security, staffing utilization, event –related crowd control, and risk management issues
Ensures that all aspects of the website (information and ticketing) are current and meet current and user needs congruent with an existing aesthetic appropriate for cultural centre audiences.
Oversees the design and production of online ads, both static and animated to a wide variety of specifications.
Oversee the design and production of prints ads and other print materials, such as brochures, postcards, gallery guides, events calendars, invitations and signage as assigned.
Deliver production-ready documents to media and print partners, fulfilling necessary requirements and deadlines.
Assist in photography and video shoots as needed.
Other roles in line with the job as and when necessary to deliver.

Essential Skills:

Multitasking, Speaking multiple languages, IT informed comprehensive industry knowledge, leadership and project management.

Key Abilities:

Interpret and enforce fire and safety codes
Establish cooperative working relationships with employees, lessees, government officials, service contractors and the public.

Educational Qualifications/Experience:

10-15 years of experience with 5 years of experience in organizing, supervising and coordinating personnel, facilities and equipment for a medium theater, convention centre or public assembly facility

Bachelors degree in Business Administration, public relations, communications, or a related field.
